Important Update: Homeroom Parent Process for 2026–2027
The following information is shared directly from the school regarding the homeroom parent process for the 2026–2027 school year:

Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, the homeroom parent selection process will be the responsibility of the school rather than the PTO. A sign-up link will be provided to families once class lists have been made available to families. Priority will be given to parents who have not previously served as homeroom parents. Additionally, a random selection process will be followed. Those parents who have been selected will be notified in a timely manner.

📢 We Need PTO Board Members for the 2026-2027 School Year!

As we prepare for another school year, we're facing a challenge: while we have many parents interested in volunteering for events, we currently do not have enough parents willing to step into PTO Board positions.

Without a PTO Board, many of the things our students, teachers, and school community enjoy simply cannot happen. Volunteers are essential, but a board is needed to organize events, manage budgets, handle funds, coordinate planning, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Last year, our PTO went above and beyond. We understand that level of commitment can feel overwhelming, which is why we're open to scaling things back this year.

Our goal is simple:

✅ At least one fun event for our students
✅ At least one event to show appreciation for our teachers
✅ Our Spring Fair, which is our largest fundraiser and helps support programs and events for the following year

Many of our previous PTO members have stepped down due to changing schedules, work commitments, family responsibilities, and schooling. However, we are not walking away. We are committed to helping the next group of parents succeed. Every former PTO board member is willing to share knowledge, answer questions, and help guide new board members through the process.

If you're thinking, "I work full-time. I don't know how I'd fit this in," trust me, we fully understand. Many of us have worked full-time while serving on the PTO. Is it always easy? No. But it is absolutely doable when we work together and scale back.

Our students and teachers deserve another great year, and together, we can make it happen.

💙 If you're interested in learning more about a PTO Board position, please reach out. Even if you're unsure, let's have a conversation. You may be exactly who our school needs.

Don't assume someone else will do it. Be the reason our PTO continues to thrive.
