YOU are the PTO

The General Wayne Elementary School PTO is all about bringing parents, teachers, and staff together to make our school the best it can be! Our mission is to provide programs, events, and materials that enhance learning, build school spirit, and inspire our kids to become lifelong learners and engaged members of both their local and global communities. We also help strengthen the connection between families and the school by promoting open communication and teamwork among parents, teachers, and administration.

Did you know that if you’ve ever volunteered at GWES, you’re already a member of the PTO? Whether you're a room parent, library helper, event planner, Spring Fair basket maker, or just someone who pitches in when needed, you’re a huge part of what makes our school community so special. We work closely with teachers and staff to support their efforts and encourage families to get involved in ways that work for them—because when we all come together, amazing things happen for our kids. Every contribution, big or small, helps create a supportive and enriching environment where all students can thrive.
