The PTO is excited to welcome all of our students, families, teachers, and staff to a brand new school year! Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we’re so glad to have you as part of our school community.

The first day of school marks a fresh start—new classrooms, new friendships, and new opportunities to learn and grow. As the year begins, we look forward to working together to support our students and build a strong, connected school community.

It’s a fun evening to connect with friends, meet new families, and celebrate the start of the school year together.

We need your help to build an outdoor classroom at general wayne!

The GWES community previously raised a sum of money to be used toward creating an outdoor learning space for the students at General Wayne. This project was paused for several years and our goal is to get the ball rolling again!

 

We are seeking parents/teachers/members of GWES community who are excited to assist with the planning and coordination of this project so that the earmarked funds can be used for their intended purpose.

 

Do you have a background or specific interest in outdoor learning spaces, landscape design, architecture, playground building/design, grant writing, zoning requirements, technology utilization?

 

Please consider joining the committee as we work to move this project forward!
