🎃 General Wayne Trunk or Treat 🎃

The General Wayne Elementary School PTO is partnering with Scouting America to bring you the 2026 Trunk or Treat!

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Events like this are only possible with the support of our school and community. We're looking for families, friends, businesses, and organizations to host a trunk!

Choose a theme and decorate:

Your vehicle trunk
A table
A pop-up tent
Or even a tarp on the ground

Hosts should plan to provide NUT-FREE candy for approximately 500 children.

No Time? No Problem!

Your display does not need to be Pinterest-worthy. Simple themes are welcome, and creativity comes in all forms! In fact, a table or tent can work just as well as a traditional trunk depending on your theme. (Please note: if using a table, you must provide your own.)

Awards & Prizes

In addition to our crowd-voted Fan Favorite Award, we'll be recognizing participants in categories such as:

🏆 Most Creative Theme
🏆 Best Use of Upcycled Materials
🏆 Most School Spirit
🏆 Best Family Theme

Plus, every participating trunk/display will be entered into a raffle to win a prize!

Not Interested in Decorating?

We need event volunteers too! If hosting a trunk isn't for you, please consider signing up to help make the day a success.

Event Details

📅 October 25
⏰ Trunk or Treat: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Setup

Begins at 2:00 PM
Only participating trunk-or-treat vehicles will be permitted in the driveway after 2:00 PM

Cleanup

Please plan to wrap up by 5:30 PM
For safety, vehicles may not leave before 5:00 PM

Can't Attend?

Support the event by donating candy!

👾 The Candy Monster will be collecting donations at the school's front entrance from October 5 through October 25.
